was talking to ting just the other day abt the importance of education in singapore n all over the world today. hv tt cert ultimately become so impt in today's society tt nothing else matters at all?

its true tt w/o solid education, u can still eventually wrk ur way up the coporate ladder. but juz tt one university degree, u skip all the hassle n jumpstart ur journey in a cool job n an equally amazing pay.

the aunty sweeping the floor hv a much harder time then the CEO (in an air-conditioned, high-rise office building, with full-length glass windows facing the esplanade) who spends his time tinking where to spend his nxt thousand dollars. the clerk types on n on for hrs, earning juz 1k a mth. n her alpha female boss juz plopped down 2k for tt designer louis vuitton.

i nv said money equals hapinness. its juz a mean to get some degree of hapinness - material satisfaction. n to get tt money.. tt cert is impt. rigid n superficial as it may be, tis is life. if we can't change things, we might as well juz accept, adapt n conform to it.

it juz irks me tt at the end of the day, our life will be summarized into tt paper-thin, laminated piece of printed document.
