our cls was among the 'lucky' few to get selected to join the rest of sp in celebrating our nation's 41st bdae. straight aft pacc lect (which i wld like to hightlight tt i did not skip!) we changed into the obscenely big n red t-shirt n headed to the stadium. turn-out was much smaller then i expected n the 'high' atmosphere wasn't tt up to standard.

mcdonalds sponsored our lunch. it was mcchicken burger w/o mayo n lettuce.. perhaps coz the sun wld spoil it or something.. the the marvellous goodie bag had an awesome flag *waves it around in pure delight* n party poppers!!! oh, wat fun. (note: sacarsm intended.)

watched william dance (sp dance team), watched even cuter little children dance (kinderland), watch malay, indian, whatever religion dance, watch wushu n dragon dance performance. speaking or wushu, their solos were gd but their grp performance can be beaten by bri n his kakis hands-down man. so lousy. oops.

then we sang patriotic songs tt got me feeling so SINGAPOREAN for once, popped the party poppers n ran away before anyone cld allocate clean-up duties.

congrats to carolyn, zest, guiyi, peter n liying for entering the semis as first placing contenders. =) may u guys continue ur winning streak.
