2006 new yr resolutions:

• strive to be 110% lovable, 110% perfect.
• live the shopoholic's dream.
• lose 10kg in 1 mth on a carbo-filled, exercise-free diet.
• have the complexion of a baby, intelligence of a mensa student n grace of ms universe.

muahahaha. i was not born yesterday so i noe the above i the impossible. but one can always dream n hope n dream n hope. tt is my fantasy for 2006. if it becomes reality, all the better for me. =) now, for the real blah-blah resolutions which i really hope i can adhere to for at least 3 mths. (2005's resolutions lasted a solid 2 wks!!)

1. exercise at least once a day.
2. fried food only twice a wk max.
3. limit sugary treats to once a wk.
4. slp by 10.30pm (beauty slp ma.)
5. be nicer to everybody.
6. spend less $ on useless stuff (clothes r not useless..)
7. keep rm neat n tidy.
8. organise my time.
9. be serious in everything i attempt (esp poly route.)
10. love myself more.

well, tis seem more realistic.. lets hope all goes well. ciao.

anyway, i'm not gonna ask anyone to do tis stupid quiz coz i hv done it before n i'm running out of ppl to ask. the only reason why i'm doing tis AGAIN is coz cher hv finally updated her blog n linked me so tis a 'thank you' gift. hehe. n simply bcoz i'm soo bored while waiting for the countdown n is starting to feel weird n random again..

was supposed to go do something drastic to my hair today but bcoz of complications in my healing, doc recommend i stay away frm chemicals. so mommy went for her hair treatment alone. towards noon, trix n i took mrt down to heeren to meet mommy. her car was in wrkshop bcoz boot got some petrol smell. then muz take public transport wif all the shopping. boo boo.

luckily i nv buy anything so i juz watch them struggle. shiok hor? hehe. who ask trix to buy my converse bag? she always like tt de. i like tt hp, she oso muz go buy it first. now i muz quickly go buy my billabong slippers coz she has her eye on it too. bahx. today's makan was kinda nice coz mommy in gd mood so eat at great places. mayb coz all the normal, usual restaurants all crowded ba. lolx.

met the rest of the family at kembagan mrt station then went parkway. supposed to bring bri go chi tuition but he looked so pathetic mommy allow him to pon. went to eat at master's cafe coz we miss the food there. yummy. v long nv eat there le. uncle robin v happy to see us. n we v happy to see the cute waiter. haha. oso, i love the magazine collection there. hv tons abt brad pitt n angelina jolie. i oso read abt prince william n prince harry. oso abt aaron carter. well, its all gossip tabloids but v nice ma.

saw shuyun too. she got into tpjc.. well, aft tt go parkway parade jalan. mommy bought tons of clothes. n i mean tons. all the boutiques were having post xmas sale. no wonder she went crazy. i bet she now hv enough new clothes to last all 15 days of cny n a credit card bill to match!! she better not stinge on my hongbao. hehe.

anyway, decided to indulge a little n hv a durian ice-cream frm 'scoopz' since i v guai nv spend any of mommy's money.. unlike daddy who buy new billabong jeans - somemore not tt one i recommended.. n watch alisa look great in everything she try. watch bri buy presents for his fren, etc.. so i juz walk around n fantasize wat i wld buy when i hv a fab body n is engaged to daniel radcliffe - richest teen leh. haha.

oso, i wun be buying the narnia series le. coz i read some review somewhere tt the christian background runs v deeply in it (i may not be a strict buddhist but i am still a buddhist). well, i mean if the show already make it so evident, i bet the bk wld be worse. so i rather spend tt $99 on clothes.. as for now, i'll juz stick to waiting for the volumes to be released at the theaters or aired on disney channel. n stick to my beloved harry potter lor. btw, i re-read all 6 books le. finished bk six yesterday n is now mourning the fact tt bk 7 wld be the last of the series. wat wld my life be w/o anticipating anymore releases abt tis magical world i hv grown soo attached to?? haiz.

apologies to jj, suting, serene, wanyee n all the other 2e2'02 peeps who went out for dinner n countdown. sorry tt i couldn't join ur. stupid curfew. anyway, i hope ur had a fantastic time. hope to meet up wif ur some other time..

watched tis show during the xmas wkend. its called "the santa clause". nope, i nv spell wrongly. its CLAUSE!! well, its abt tis high-flying businessman guy who divorced his wife n his son came to stay at his place for xmas. the son strongly believes in santa.

tt night, santa came but unfortunately, tis dad mistook him for a theif n caused poor santa to fall off the roof n die. so as to patronise his son n not disappoint millions of children in the world, he obeys a card which reads "wear my suit n be santa" aft delivering all the presents onboard the sledge, rudolf took the father n son back to the north pole where tis new santa is binded to the clause or in other words, contract to be the new santa the moment he put on tt suit n he has 11mths to tie up all loose-ends in the mortal world.

well, the adventure unfolds. its a v nice show. really. perfect for xmas morn to convince children tt santa does indeed exist. there was a saying, "seeing is not believing. believing is seeing". the man saw santa's village. he saw miracles unfold. he saw the impossible happen. but yet, he did not believe it till the v last moment - the nxt yr's xmas eve. but yet kids all over the world, having nv seen santa ever before, could still believe in his existence.

a v touching story abt sacrifice. n santa's workshop looked soo cool. juz like charlie's choc factory... wif all the awesome rooms n cute elves. hehe. btw, i still do believe in santa. so santa, if ur reading tis, i still want my laptop v much...

mommy n daddy took leave today to pei us go out play. we went east coast park for picnic n to cycle. lucky us managed to secure a patio n had food like cheese hotdogs, sotong balls, fried beehoon, sandwiches, chips, ribena n green tea.. daddy made teh tarik by the beach.. mmmmm. not bad leh.

then we rented bikes at $5/hr n got 1/2 hr free for every hr. we kids sped along n managed to finish the length of the park. cool. mommy n daddy juz sat n talked n read magazines n newpapers the whole time. we then had tuna sandwiches before returning the bikes. thank god. juz mins aft we returned the bikes, it started to pour. luckily we nv extend. we ran towards to car using the picnic mat as a shelter. i bet we looked hilarious like some yellow-checkered lion dance in the rain.

we headed to the club. supposed to go bowling de but i forgot to bring socks n no way was i going to put my precious feet into tt smelly rented shoes. so went to play arcade instead. for once, there was no queue for the 'daytona' racing. i guess its wkday ba. aft tt, we went karaoke for 3hrs. n we had lots n lots of snacks too. yummy.

well, all gd things hafta come to an end. came hm n watched tv.

back at last.

the hotel looked kinda old on the outside but it was v posh on the inside. victorian like furnishing. lots of gold n bronze mix n matching. nice lifts n grand staircases. juz like in a palace. the staff were mostly indians n their service was the tops man. the spoke perfect eng n all their uni looked like tt of the british colonial era. ranging frm the doorman to the waiter, the receptionist to the housekeeper. totally cool.

we had tis sorta connecting rm wif cable tv!! n the rooms faced the high-rise buildings of orchard rd which is only two bus stops down the street. another awesome thing was tt the glass windows turned into mirrors at night.. amazing. dinner at the restaurant was great too. everything was perfect. frm the lightings to the waterfalls, rocks n greenery all visible frm the full-length glass windows. i oso tried a 'virgin chi chi' tis non-alcoholic cocktail. i bet the drinks made up most of the bill but they were the most fascinating part..

trix then had her apricot wif white choc bdae cake. it was nice too. the staff were great in creating tt celebratory ambience. we then went back to the rm to play cards, board games n watched a couple of in-house movies n my fav was 'baby's day out' a v funny show wif an extremely cute baby who goes on an adventure aft being kidnapped. soo adorable. but the nights were not v comfortale coz although the bed was exceptionally springy, it did not feel like my own bed. so yeah, home is the best.

daddy say the first car he'll buy for me aft i get my driving license is a toyota or nissan coz its slower n if i hv accident (choy!!), it'll be cheaper to replace. bahx.i dunno was he drunk to actually promise me a car or was he even more drunk to actually forget my dream car is a mercedes clk or a mazda rx? haha.

returned hm yesterday afternoon. then went to sgh to see the doc. he say there's a form of 'keloid' growing under the skin so muz use steriods to let it subside. so now applying steriod cream n if it doesn't wrk, he'll inject the chemical in. scary. now i can't go rebond n colour my hair in case got some side effects. btw, i cut hair again. but i retain its length so not v noticable but it feels lighter.

supposed to pei mom n trix go temple in the morn, go tighten her braces then go shopping. but too tired to wake up tis morn so i'm now stuck at hm.

i really hafta lose weight. been off my exercise n diet schedule tis couple of days. haiz.. oh, thank you yingjie n mag for ur lovely cards n euodia for ur xmas greeting. i hope india was fun. =)

for once, mommy willingly brought us to 'long john sliver's' for lunch. daddy was such a wreck at ordering. mixing up up-size n stuff. haha. alisa did the ordering in the end n being on diet, i only had a milo freeze n a couple of fries. tts coz i missed my exercise yesterday. haha. muz really go run later in the evening. oh, trix adores the bdae present i gave her. she started drawing wif the pencils immediately but the stupid gold marker ran out of ink. waste my 3 bucks. popular shld let serious buyers test the ink. =(

we shopped n alisa bought tis white jeans frm levis. she even bought the smallest pair available - size 26. its not fair tt she can look fab in white n i dun even look decently slim in black. we hv the same parents but we hv v diff legs. haiz. i looked ok in another jeans but the length was kinda long n aft alteration wun look as gd. n my ego prevented me frm admitting to my mom's "u shld hv jumped more while u cld still grow." i juz shrugged n replied, "i'm not complaining abt my height so why shld u? besides, guys r getting shorter so i'm perfectly happy."

we then went to watch "the chronicles of narnia: the lion, the witch n the wardrobe". luckily daddy booked the tickets on thurs coz the theater was packed!! n forgetful daddy forgot to bring the free vouchers so we ended up having to pay $9.50 for each of our tickets. well, at least it wasn't my money.

the show was awesome. great scenery. correct climax, etc. i loved the ultimate showdown part n peter was cute esp on top of the white unicorn wif his sword drawn! amazing. despite the pretty obvious christain undercurrents, i throughly enjoyed the show. the creatures were fascinating n the child actors - lucy - in particular was sooo gd. gosh, its a great movie n i wanna buy the series now. highly recommended!!!! mommy was barely out of the cinema when she started messaging all her girlfriends to go watch.

had supper n went hm to pop the champagne n do count-down. santi got into alot of trouble coz she left the hse key hanging outside when we reach hm. mommy was fuming. she kept forgetting stuff too so mommy is mad. we had a sinful but hearty breakfast of sausages, eggs, toast n bacon tis morn. n trix is now crazily baking almond cookies. (luckily she dun hv pure choc to make brownies - i can't eat ma.) yummy. watching 'the pacifier' van diesel is soo cool. n the show is hilarious!!! =)

oso, msg tons of ppl merry xmas last nite n got lots of well-wishes too. thank u to (in order): johnathan, jason foo, johnathan (again), jason chen, geraldine, desmond, anee, dianne, ronald, daniel, jia jin, xuan qi, xinyu, earth, clement, ruth, aisha, renfeng n kian yan for making tis xmas special wif ur greetings. tis the season to be jolly. stay happy everyone. merry christmas! now gotta go pack so we can go check into the hotel later. ciao!

juz bathe. came back frm gym. did 2hrs today then my leg start hurting so i figured i might as well stop. my weight nv fall but i didn't rise either. i guess its bcoz of the 8 potato chips i ate yesterday. sinful salty snack. somemore its pringles - "once u pop, u can't stop!!" then trix open her famous amos hamper n they had her choc bdae cake for breakfast i oso can't eat. =( nvm, yesterday, bee bee gave me one choc wif almond say it wun matter much since its so small. haha.

well, more abt yesterday. during dinner, cher, the blessed one wif her 'assets'. n prob the most experienced one was teaching my sis when to break-up wif a bf. muz be aft xmas, cny n v-day. so u get presents n hong bao first. typical materialistic gal. pei fu. actually, juz like me. haha. but i not as lucky as her lah.

then ting n meng zi started spraying fake snow tt evaporates aft a while. got so much on my floor n bed. the floor was still sticky mins aft the 'snow' evaporate!!! imagine all tt stuff on my face n hair?!? haha. at least i got the least coz i've a wound so no one really dare spray me n bee rushed to help clean my face when the foam touched it. thank u. tt was so sweet. but i was kinda grouchy still coz my poor rm floor was suffering not mentioning my bed. wonder wat sorta chemical i slept wif last nite. anyway, got my maid to clean up aft they left n mop the floor twice. cher couldn't stop laughing at how paranoid i was abt the chemical discolouring my parquet floor - mommy will give me hell if tt happens man.

my skin oso itch i wonder if the rest does or was mine extra sensitive. haha. esp ting who sprayed designs on herself n i rubbed the foam into her skin. moisturise ma. soft n silky anot?? hehe. i hoped u bathed though. n bri is pissing me off again! he dun deserved to go em1. at the rate he's complaining n procrastinating when ppl wanna help him, i wun be suprised if he drop to em3 nxt yr. i bet its the first in tns history to go frm em1 to em3. but it wld jolly well serve him n his idiotic male inflated n rude ego right. blind to everything n rude to everyone he is one big fat ass like all his other son-of-a-bitch frens! ass-hole.

anyway, in response to ting's blog, i'm really v sorry i didn't buy presents. tts coz everytime i go out hv my whole family so kinda inappropriate to choose. bee bee was prob too busy wif her council, wrk n stuff to buy lah. she dun even hv time go dental. at least she came. but well, i'm sorry again.

yesterday, went tm's 'long john slivers' to meet mz n ting.. aft tt, we went popular to buy trix's bdae gift. spent $13 on drawing pencils n a gold marker n oso played a game of puck at ezone... we then proceeded hm on bus no. 3. met bee at my bus-stop.

they went swimming while trix n alisa watched "hitch" n went gym. we sat around the pool chatting abt latest crushes n its sad tt i'm prob the only one w/o an admirer. wat can i say? i hv v desirable frens.. hungry, i left them playing wif a baby n made my way back hm to grab a snack.. sad. only had a rice cracker n a banana. watched abit of "hitch" then came out to gossip somemore.. as evening came, they rushed to bathe so can hv dinner before bri's tutor came. cher oso came on her bf's motorcycle. she has as ting said, not "fa fu" instead, its "fa zhong".. she really put on alot of weight - i guess tts the power of love.

cher: (turns) rmbr i wan tt swatch watch for xmas k? bear bear one.. (grab my hand n walk away.)

her bf watch us walk in le then drives away.typical cher. went around boasting of her chauffeur, shui chuan shui dao.. pity her bf sia. while waiting for all the other xiao jies to shower n finish fussing abt their hair, cher plonked down wif me to chat abt poly life, watch cartoons n read "teenage"... dinner was funny wif ting teasing santi (my maid) n cher piling veg n sotong balls on ting's plate. ting is a carnivore. she detest veg n oso dislike round food. super fussy. no wonder so thin!!! but she did put on some weight lah - tt means guolong or rather ken nv exactly neglect her. haha. she oso hv tt contacts tt make ur eyes bigger n bri was disgusted. hehe.

when bri's tutor came, we adjourned to my rm to chat somemore (cher wanna wrk in a bar!!)

cher: wanna wrk in ministry of sound. cool hor?
mz: wrk in bar v dangerous de.. if ppl touch u, oso can't complain. later u drunk how?
cher: aiyah, wrk rules say can't drink while working lah.

n soon, everyone wanna slp le. bee, mz n ting left to go tamp. i nv go coz i hv no transport n oso coz i wanna watch 'love conceige' at 9pm. cher (no ezylink card - spoilt hor? so used to ppl fetching her.) was waiting for jonathan to come fetch her. played abit of maple n watched tv. soon, her dear come pick her le. they quarrelled abit then she left for his hse. dun ask me wat they do. haha.

"LOSE WEIGHT: LOOK GREAT"


MUST-DOS TO LOSE THOSE KGS!!

• morning run [3 rounds (run) 2 rounds (walk)]
• alternate afternoon gym [cycle (30 min), threadmill (30 min), weights (2-3kg)]
• alternate evening swim [10 laps]
• night stretches
• no more than 1 carbo per meal (potato/rice/noodle/bread)
• no sugared/carbonated drinks (ribena/coke)
• fresh juice/green tea
• no snacks (except: salad/fruits/raisins)
• 'haach' 10 min slimming remedy (package: all abt body)
• indo slimming wrap (mommy's package - she nv use so i help her use lor) *wink*
• if i can convince mommy (dance lessons/tailored gym workout frm the club)

overslept again so went gym at 9+ so i dun hafta get sunburnt while running outside. did the treadmill for 30min.. curiously, my muscles dun ache anymore so i guess its juz a matter of pushing urself beyond ur limits..

did the weights n stuff again.. the gym was crowded in the morn wif all the housewives comparing sons:

mama 1: my son psle 239 can't go vs leh.
mama 2: haha. 239 how to go vs. dun overestimate ur son can anot. my son can go chung cheng leh. higher chi A*.. gd hor.
mama 1: i offer vs money oso dun wan. u noe wat they want?
mama 2: wat?
mama 1: go be rdblock during special occasions.
son of mama 1: then go block rds lah. easy ma.
mama 1: ni yao si ar? (u wan die ar?) go hm go hm.

then they all left. i tink they come gym to enjoy free aircon not to exercise. but tts morning blockbuster frm the heartlands for u. =)

aft tt, i'm left all alone to the sounds of my panting. n guess wat? i lost 0.6 kg today!! i dunno izzit coz i weigh in the morn so lighter.. since at night ur feet expand so prob ur body expands too. but now, i need a belt to hold up tt cargo pants i bought last wk. (mayb it expanded it the wash but i need to encourage myself ma)

my target is to lose 8kg by jan 29 - cny day 1.. tt wrks out to 0.2kg per day. jia you!! gambette!! then can go esprit buy more clothes!! coz i hv my v own discount card now!!!!! (yj: i noe esprit is ur fav store. nxt time we go splurge k?) i juz need a sup credit card now.. haha.

whew. juz came back frm my daily dose of exercise. haha. 3rd day le. wonder how long i can last. today, i went a little slow pace coz my muscles ache. juz 30min on the stationary bike plus weights. oso ran 1 round around the condo. saw a couple of cute guys at the gym doing weights today. i tink they r basketball fans coz they wearing bball jersey..

but today damn sad. i gained 0.3kg.. i'm not supposed to be gaining!!!!! i read tt initial gain is due to fat converting to muscle n aft a wk or so, the weight will fall again. i sure hope so.. i certainly dun wanna become muscular.. no no no no. i still gotta fit into all the clothes i've bought. god save me!

my muscles ache. i did 20min on the treadmill n 30min on the bike yesterday. i oso did the weights n leg lifts. only loss 0.2kg. poo poo. bet its all juz water loss!!!

overslept today so missed my morning run. will go gym later in the afternoon. alisa is making salad for me now. but thousand island dressing will put all my pounds back on... juz now oso got 3 missed calls frm tis no. tt stays arnd serangoon n hougang area [not bedok as i initially tot] but when i call back got no response.. 62**3787.. ring any bells. pls tell me if u noe who. n 67299***... both places hv no answer. wonder why. prank call??

trix n alisa watching "the sisterhood of travelling pants" sounds kinda funny. but i no mood to watch tv now. oso, last night's new 9pm show was awesome. FABULOUSO!! lolx. i love jacelyn tay n fiona xie. oso, ann kok used to be my ultimate fav before she left. now i not tt crazy over her le but she's still pretty.. n NO nightmares last night. i had a wonderful dream abt ???? but i wun say who..

today marks the 2nd day of my exercise regime!! woke up at 5.30 am, had breakfast wif mommy n daddy. ran 3 rounds n walked 2 around my condo compound! yesterday did 30min of gym bicycle [up-slope leh] n 2 rounds. feel so energized now. mayb so do gym later again. healthy lifestyle. yeah. i wanna look great during cny n make *ahem* regret!!!!!!!!!!!!

finished bri's study timetable n alisa's giving him math tuition now. so cute. i bet i'll lose my temper at him. no wonder mommy dun wanna offer tis job to me. both my sis get paid $15 an hr to teach him his pri 5 stuff according to my timetable.

last nite intended to slp at 9.30 pm so hv energy to continue wif my 'look great, keep fit' programme but kept tossing n turning till 12 plus. bahx. then hv nightmare so woke up so damn early. its suprising tt i can rmbr the rough details of tt horrible dream n i woke up crying. gosh.

ok, dun laugh but here's the dream. there's me, my best fren (sim), my childhood sweetheart (john) n her darling (i forgot his name) n my parents. tis is soo random coz i dun hv a best fren called sim n my childhood sweetheart is certainly not tis john guy. but i dunno why these names juz flowed. well, we were at a pub then met tis gal, olivia. she's dropdead gorgeous but homeless so i brought her hm. it happens the four of us planned to go somewhere the nxt day (forgot where le) n the guys invited her. so they all slept over at my hse. guys 1 rm, gals 1rm, parents another rm. i'm v jealous coz the guys seemed smitten by her beauty so meanie me woke sim up in the middle of the nite to plot to leave her behind. little did i noe she heard. she went crazy n wanted to kill us. i ran into my parents rm, etc. there were the screams n sinister voices (honest. i heard every blood-chilling shriek in my dream!) then there was silence. i went out n sim was lying gasping for breath in a pool of blood. then i screamed n screamed n screamed. shit. i smelled gasoline. olivia was standing at the doorway wif tt psycopath face. super white. strangely like tt crazy, obsessed guy i saw on tv a couple of weeks ago. (it was meant to be a comedy sorta thriller but he made a v scary murderer alright!) she was gonna blow up the whole hse. i ran n fell (btw, i woke up on the floor) then somehow i woke up crying.. horrible horrible. there was blood n gore.

n i nv even watch any horror of ghost shows before!!! in fact, i absolutely hate them. the last time i accidently watched one abt supernatural beings (a fortune teller sorta movie) was in lower pri - i still can rmbr the echo of the clanking bells!!

friday night:
we watched an episode indiana jones n bruce almighty n a cool show on disney channel called "pixel perfect". they were great. indiana jones was scary n i was screaming n screaming. it was thrilling for a show filmed during my grandparent's time w/o any special effects whatsoever. the storyline was brillant n the plot juz flowed. mommy bought the whole set of dvds. she said it was a fav show then. haha. bruce almighty was funny abt tis guy challenging god n becoming god. funny funny funny. but "pixel perfect" was the sorta show i love. abt tis guy wanting to impress a gal so he fiddled wif his dad's hologram machine n create pets for her -she's an animal lover but is asthmatic. she's a great singer, great songwriter n part of tis great band but unfortunately, she can't dance. no one wanna hire them coz they can't produce the 'visual' needed to be successful. so he created tis holographic gal out of diff ppl. like a certain model's eyes, or a certain singer's voice n most importantly grooving dance moves. tis 'fake' gal becomes the lead singer n soon the guy falls for her n the 'perfect' gal falls for him leaving the initial love jealous. etc. it ends wif the hologram sacrificing herself to save the real gal's life aft she collaspe in an accident n she come back to bless to couple as a guardian angel. haha. happily ever aft!!


yesterday:
went to pray to 'tai shui' to thank him for a safe yr.. then went to queensway shopping complex to buy trix running shoes. went to soo many shops n finally found one yellow nike de. so typical. lolx. i treated bri to cup corn juz to keep his complaining mouth shut. after tt, mommy say go mac hv a drink. n guess wat? i saw hui yan n chun hein together. haha. trix complain tt everywhere i go, i meet frens then she nv meet so i rebut tt she dun hv alot of frens ma. naturally, she start sprewing insults. duh.

we had abt $18 worth of mac.. sinful. all the trans fat. luckily i had lemon lime (bee: detergent) to conquer the effect. daddy won a plastic pink belt frm the sure win lucky dip. so tacky. i envy my bro. mommy wanted to buy him soccer boots, new tennis racket n addidas martail arts shoe. he turned down everything. stupid leh. i want oso dun hv.

then we supposed go hm fetch alisa who's addicted to the com, then go white sands for dinner n to 'popular' to buy bri revision bks. but ecp jam so we wanna go suntec. but carpark full. so we went bugis but oso kinda boring so we ended up going to raffles place shopping centre. while driving, we were crapping. daddy wants bri to go victoria. but trix say guys go in smart come out stupid. then mommy say her bro is oso frm vs n he's making big bucks now. so we were saying tt he was an exception. daddy hv a bro frm chinese high so he was saying tt third uncle only noe chi n tt he himself v powerful is "multi-lingual" so he started sprouting vulgarities in all languages n dialects. mommy was furious. n we were laughing. the last straw came when he said he even knew sign language n pointed the middle finger. bri couldn't stop laughing afterward. we crapped more till we reached. my sides were aching by then.

boring. for once, i noe how it feels to go shopping but watch others buy. bahx. i bough polo tees frm giodano n tts all. poo poo. trix bought accesories frm 'island shop' n mommy bought lots of discounted jewellery frm robinson. we then went to more sports shop n trix was so pissed tt she saw the shoe she initially adored priced cheaply. we even saw alisa's pony shoes. haha. tis is fate. we then went to 'timberland' n i saw tis cute sales personnel. haha. my parents were charmed too since daddy blew 400 bucks there on shoes n shirts n jeans.. though i find tt the shirts look v much like those taxi drivers wear. mommy oso tried to force tis shoe onto me n trix saying it was sooo nice. i beg to differ. then mommy went to 'nine west' n bought more shoes n bags. she'll need a new cupboard soon. we stayed at 'nine west' till they closed - mommy so totally thrilled at their limited edition pieces. n poor us only had dinner at 9pm.

we went to tis restaurant for crepes called 'out of the pan' its was nice. the dishes we so beautifully decorated n the deserts we simply heavenly. sinful but great. we even ate arnd the fountain n the waiters wereyoung n cute too. aww. luckily there was the jam or we wld be eating at white sands food court. but mayb then, mommy would hv saved tons of money. but i'm not complaining. reached hm late.


today morning:
they whole family went to watch the swimming meet so i woke up to an empty hse. played abit of maple. shh. dun tell mommy. n then blogged lor. =)

oh man. i juz finished watching 'hse of flying daggers' n takeshi kaneshiro is soo cute. even his speeches abt being 'feng' is so cute. stupid andy lau. he stabbed zhang ziyi coz "if i can't hv u, no one can." well, if its me, i wun rule out something so drastic but mayb something as brutal too. muahahaha. "no one can hv my man!!" kidding lah.

afterall, he liked her for 3yrs while she fell for takeshi in 3 days. anyway, zhang ziyi killed herself by pulling out the dagger n letting the blood pour out of her heart juz to stop the two men frm fighting.. nice scenery n display of fighting skills but they shld end wif a happily ever aft. hehe.

highly recommended bcoz i tink it has eyecandies for both genders.. n for ppl not interested in the barely there sex scenes, there's the fighting n of course, the thrilling love, secrets n betrayal. btw, its nc-16.

actually, it doesn't matter. wif dvd rentals, my bro 10yrs old only, can watch m-18 le. its so easy nowadays. in my time, i can't even watch nc-16 shows. not tt it existed then anyway.

life is a bore. n its the festive season. one is supposed to be out on social engagements. everyone but me. yes, i noe i turned downed yj's invitation to sam's bbq, ting's offer to go shopping, trix n alisa's chance to go for a gold in swimming.. i even turned down my desire to exercise [not tt it was much of a draw anyway.] no xmas parties tis yr.. my family can go but i wun go n make myself miserable.

was watching "my boyfriend is type B" it's a funny romantic comedy. i was laughing [meeting antics], then annoyed n digusted n appalled n shocked n astonished [obnoxious, ungentlemanly behavoir], laughed somemore [he romanced her], got touched [flowers, songs n protectiveness], cried abit [when he sold her to pay his credit card bills] n laughed somemore [she turned tables on him]. its quite a nice show only the korean speeches kinda sound abit malay n hokkien combined. lolx. luckily hv eng n chi subtitles. n the male lead is cute n somewhat romantic too. is tis still part of 'the kimchi revolution' where everything frm south korea is soo desirable?? awww. =)

anyway, there was tis phrase "love is one blessing n a thousand sufferings". wld one forgo the one blessing to spare one-self the fatigue n torture of experiencing a thousand sufferings?? is there such thing as destiny n fate n karma?

went parkway to register alisa's tuition n drop alisa n brian off at the club for tennis. mommy, trix, daddy n i walk arnd trying to find shoes but to no avail. i went back to esprit but tt green tee i liked sold-out le. poo poo. there was only the pink version left. but i got another red sequined top to match my brown pants.

then we picked up sa n bri frm ssc n went to botanic gardens. daddy got lost so aft turning many rounds arnd cjc, sji, we finally reached. the view was scenic n the air was fresh. the lake was so blissful n there were alot of dogs n expats. we had picnic of beehoon, sausages n sandwiches [olivia made many exotic sorts wif specially marinated meat n gourmet breads] we sat on the grass patch facing the lush, picturesque gardens. as the sunset, we proceeded to tis cafe, a subsidiary of the posh 'les amis' french restaurant [set dinners go for $300 per person. waste of money.] for ice-cream. i had strawberry, the rest had flavours ranging frm lemon n lime sorbet to macademia n walnut mix. we oso saw a large tortise crawling into the foliage possibly to lay eggs since we were v far frm the tortise's lake-side habitat.. while talking, i realised olivia bought tt $79.90 esprit skirt wif bells i was fawning over. [her dad was shocked when i mentioned the price.. typical guys who juz sign the credit card bill.] n olivia has grown to be such a drama queen.. its the drama lessons frm rgs i guess. she kept posing n sashaying all over the place.. hehe. n angelica having cut her hair looks soo chio esp in the candle-light!! guys will be all over her in a few yrs time..

we then went to tanglin mall to browse for my shoe. i reminicise abt being involved in the 'mi flea mkt sale' wif marianne a couple of mths back. alisa bought a new yellow nike tennis shoe n my cousins bought new addidas n nike bottles. aft tt, we went hm.

monday:
mommy took half-day leave to pei us shop. the four of us went to meet mommy at her office n i saw kavitha wif jeevan at tamp mrt. [dating??] haha. she didn't deny.. i bought tis pair of heels frm 'charles n keith' we then went toook mrt to scotts coz mommy dun wanna be caught in traffic jam n i tink 'tangs' hv such an awesome sports collection. alisa found her 'pony' shoes but dun hv her size so she bought another design - still pink n brown though. trix gushed over tis emerald green top frm 'fcuk' n i liked tis shimmery pink 'levis' watch.

for some reason, mommy waltz us into mariott hotel for tea. gosh, the place was super expensive man!! [a glass of coke cost $8.50, no wonder only tourists were there.] but anyway, me n alisa shared tis superb fish n chips [v crispy but not at all oily] n i had tomato juice. bri had tis crisy seafood noodles thingy, trix had tis amazing towering fruit tart n mommy had a delicately carved mango platter. dun ask the price but daddy missed out on gd stuff. muahahaha. the service was v v v gd. n the waiters were cute n v attentive.. they look like poly age only. mommy was in a spending mood. she kept pilling clothes aft clothes, shoe aft shoe on me. supposedly for my poly. i bought 2 new pants tt i'm proud abt n bri was jealous coz he dun hv. haha. he oso almost bought tis nike soccer boots which he saw five times n believe its fate. =P

aft shopping n splurging somemore, we went to hv kaya toast. such gluttons. we keep eating n eating lah. haha. but it was fun coz bri wasn't complaining tis time [he had enough sense to bring his gameboy..] n mommy was more enthu trying out stuff for herself. she took leave n is gonna go shopping wif daddy on wed. oh my... they say we kids r not included. =( haha.

we then went to tm [renovated to purple n orange frm green leh] to meet daddy for dinner. trix still can't find her jc shoes n alisa found her original pony shoes in her size. so ironic tt once u stop searching, it juz pops out!! i bought tis little bag frm 'billabong'. kawaii!! =) alisa got her genuine leather billabong wallet frm 'the wallet shop' far beats her pvc myuk wallet n we got discount of a shiny make-up pouch [i took it of course.] n passport holder [for daddy].. we ate at 'ding fung tang' i tink its spelled tis way lah. i had fried rice w/o egg n meat. so its juz oily rice. haha. but quite nice lah. such a pity i can't eat their renowned xiao long bao wif its 18 folds [yup, alisa counted!!]. too bad lor. everyone else had la mian.. then rushed back but was still 5min late to watch 'rainbow connection' on tv.

now, i'm pondering whether or not i shld go banking n finance. two days ago, mommy called ngee ann to see if they can guarantee me a place so i can hv letter of acceptance to attach to my mj withdrawal form. she claims it sounds nicer then saying i can't cope wif sch wrk. but the admin staff say their cut-off score is 13 n i hv 11 so its rather borderline. so they can't give me a confirmed place.

oso, they briefed my mom abt tis course saying its rather dry wif alot of hard studying... n wif a cut-off score of 13, they take the creme of the crop.. all the top students. mass com on the otherhand will grant me an interview wif an essay writing component n a drama segment. i refused. i can't imagine being a drama-mama in front of my frens wat more a panel of complete strangers? definitely not me. STAGEFRIGHT!! lolx.

oso banking n finance is a v specialised course restricing my choices n job opportunities in future. oso, they r only affilated to overseas universities in uk. i scared mommy can't afford or if she can, i wun be able to go as high as i hope since she has 4 kids to tink of. if i enter a local uni, mayb i can go further like hv honours or mayb even go for a master degree!! tis as opposed to merely a degree which is so commonplace nowadays tt it has become a basic necessity for any job..

went on a shopping spree. left hm at 9am to go bedok mkt [opp tj] for apom n putut mayam breakfast. mmm. had tau huay n soya bean drink too. went bugis to pray at the waterloo temple for fast recovery n went to jalan arnd there. walked along bugis village [the 2nd floor shops haven open] n bugis junction. feeling bored, we drove to orchard. [i got to sit in front. haha.]

there was terrible traffic jam n mommy was grouchy. we shopped at ngee ann city n trix bought her speedo swimsuit n alisa feel in love wif her brown n pink 'pony' shoes. we then went to 'puma' n 'WH' but stupid, fat me looked horrible in everything. =( alisa on the other hand looked awesome in the shortest of skirts n tightest of blouses. life is not fair.

oso, i couldn't find the same top i liked frm esprit but i blew $120 on clothes frm giodano n forever 21. bought jeans, a cool army green top, 24 gold bangles n a cutesy green necklace. yup, it was kinda impulse but its still within my budget. hehe. but i still need shoes n a cute cute bag.

troublesome me hv a special diet so we went to eat at a jap restaurant. they all had nice, elaborate sets wif conveyor belt sushi n sashimi but i had to settle for a simple 1/2 bowl of kitsune udon n pork bun. expensive n not worthwhile. but wat can u expect abt exorbitant orchard rd food prices? at least i tried abit of fried tempura icecream which mommy made me stop eating coz there seemed to hv egg. ordered a green tea icecream instead.

went to taka area n saw yuvan wif his predictable crumpler backpack n headphones n shades. haha. he didn't see me though. later walked to heeren coz fussy alisa insists on finding her shoes. we still didn't find it but we all bought nice $8 slippers frm a shop. poor bri was soo bored trix had him count the no. of gals wearing jean skirts n i made him count the no. of steps we took. but the cute lil gentleman still insisted on carrying all our shopping bags. then we went to tis flip flop store at heeren which trix acknowledged was full of hunky all-male staff. while alisa ogled at their bronze bodies n barely-there singlets, trix fantasied abt being the only female staff in tt store. typical her. she oso discovered the famous amos hamper she won at her prom was worth $78. gosh. rich sch hor..

walked back to ngee ann city to go hm n saw ivy lee [chnl 8 actress duh!] wif her daughter mikki buying curry puffs. haha. she looks fab in person in a green halter top n white 3/4 pants. we indulged in oh-so-expensive fruit juice frm a juice bar n went hm. guess how much 6hrs at orchard parking cost? $16.08!! add tt wif the bugis parking charges of 4 bucks plus erp n petrol charges. nxt time, we shld take the mrt. hmm, but on 2nd thought, tis alternative wld mean we hafta carry so much shopping hm..

anyway, going to the club to buy coffee beans for kim kim n go parkway to buy my blouse frm esprit n find my elusive shoe n bag plus my xmas present. then will go botanic gardens for picnic wif my cousins. speaking of tt, i gotta go pack my own sandwich since i prob can't eat anything frm the picnic basket.

but on the whole, tis has been a great hol. happy xmas everyone.

great juz great. i got 2 maple bf yesterday.. so now, i hv 3 online lovers. haha. how come the reality is so diff?? how come in real-life its a complete opp. a reversal.. *sulks* i wan a bf! ok, tt sounds despo. haha.

i had chee cheong fan wif light soya sauce for breakfast today. can't hv the black sweet sauce coz well, its black n supertitious ppl like my ah ma say it'll leave a scar. got mommy to buy cartons of soya bean milk coz earth says it wld help fade the obscene, ugly scar. haha. its not tt bad lah but its still quite obvious. oso, uncle jason n aunt clara n family invite us to go picnic at botanic garden tis sunday aft alisa n brian's tennis cls at the club. isn't tt awesome? haha. i can't wait. n i drop another kg. hmm, i still dun see any diff leh. but the weighing scale shldn't lie rite? unless its spoilt. i'll hafta go exercise to tone all the prob areas. [trust me, i got lots of those irritating prob areas to get rid of before cny!!]

btw, tt top psle gal hv chosen rgs over bukit panjang govt high. doesn't tt prove my pt tt if one has a better alternative, one wld eventually go for it?? tts the thing abt elite, prestigious schs..

oso, do u belive in a guy n a gal having a platonic relationship? i dun belive it. in tv dramas n even real-life situations. i hv seen my fren's best guy fren become boyfriend juz overnight... well, juz food for thought.

oso, i hv updated some songs in my playlist. so hv more varieties now. i had initially wanted to revamp tis whole blog. but i made a big mess out of it. juz like my nails. =P

my left hand kept shaking so can't paint my right hand properly n evenly. fed-up, i juz put clear polish (wanted sparkly pink) on both hands. i'm so v bored! juz now watched "seoul raiders" its was ok only. not fantasatic. plot oso quite confusing. haha. later watch tv n mayb "my bf is type B" tt korean love show lor. tis time i v asian-like. rent all chi shows. oso hv "house of flying daggers".. mommy renewed the rental membership oso. yeah!!

tmr, both my mei mei going wisma to buy their clothes wif mommy's budget. i hv money. i hv tons of it! god, i hv all the money in the world now [savings plus all the sympathy money (daddy n relatives gave) plus my xmas n cny budget]. u cld say i'm richer than i've been in a long long time! but i can't go anywhere!!!

i'm bored bored bored. there's nothing gd to do.. i woke up early today.. when my alarm rang so mommy can't accuse me of sleeping my life away. i read cleo n female mag while having my breakfast of rice krispies n cold fresh milk.

read the forum pg of newspaper abt the elite sch thing. its true tt students in the elite sch do better. there's no denial. the ppl here r better travelled, coming frm well-to-do families. they can afford tons of tuition n countless revision exercises n heck, even overseas education if they fail to make it locally. they hv parents who drive saving them valuable travelling time. eating n fancy places n going to exotic locations is an eye-opener.. n these students choke up elite schs simply bcoz, parents hv the connections or money to buy them a place. look at ACS n all the other independent schs. the fabulous facilities [air-con, pool, etc..] n such.. there is no way neighbourhood schs wif their limited resources can catch up.

yup, all tis additional perks makes their learning more conducive n efficient.. higher sch fees makes it exclusive n better teachers [higher pay ma] all give them a head-start in life.

i'm not saying tt shld one go to a neighbourhood sch, one will not hv a bright future. its juz tougher. v much tougher. u hv to compete wif all the ppl who hv it easier. no money woes n all the help in the world. a perfect example. i was frm tao nan. a pretty branded pri sch in the east if u ask me. my peers stayed in big houses having lots of pocket money n expensive gadgets. every hol, its no surprise to see frens go abroad to europe or usa. donation collections for organisations like nkf become a cls competition as to who gets more money. its true. i can collect $200 n its still not enough [in damai, i dun even bother to put more than $50]. i'm not complaining coz i'm not exactly deprived either. sch trips r v large-scale wif compulsory subsidised swimming lessons - i even had swimming "tuition" so i wun lag behind. but in sec sch, damai cld not even afford to let the whole level go on an excursion. i rmbr sch trips being limited to the selected few - usually top scorers or teacher's pets. it boils down to the resources. how can neighbourhood catch up if they dun provide equal opportunities for their students?

n given a chance, ppl with the means to enter top schs wun opt for an average one. its human nature to want the best. so i dun tink tis social gap will ever close.. students frm top schs go on to become top executives earning big bucks. neighbourhood schs can still produce top students but the route upwards is longer, harder n much more tedious. well, life is not fair.

i experienced both sorta life. n yes, life in tns was much more competitive n challenging. as each tried to prove themselves superior. [last time we compared pagers not hps.. oso who had branded bags or expensive shoes..] but life in dmss was much more pleasant wif down-to-earth ppl n ppl who loved u for who u r. but being not blind, i can see which grp of ppl hv a more direct route to a bright future.

n trix dropped her hp two days ago but the person returned. its not fair. when my sibs lose their stuff, it always get found. while poor me nv get anything back. n i'm putting on weight again coz i've been eating cheese n yoghurt like nobody's business! its not my fault. mommy buy all fanciful sorta cheese cubes n fruity yoghurt. i was tempted!

trix is on tis exercise kick n i wanna go join her lose weight too. but i can't. i wanna start wrk juz like ting n mz oso. *sulks*

i juz watched "one more chance" a jack neo film. its ok lah. quite funny but v obvious they r advertising for sakae n some soya sauce brand. they oso promote the yellow ribbon proj for ex-convicts tt was quite tacky...

nv blog for a few days le. recap, two nights ago, i watched fantastic 4. its was great. super-hero powers n nice ending. jessica alba is so hot. she even has a britney spear face-shape. haha. typical blonde beauty. met por por at parkway on sat to go shop for new yr clothes. couldn't find anything in the newly renovated wing... yup, 'john little' is gone making way for stores like 'topshop', 'esprit', etc. i like tis green top frm esprit mayb i'll go back n buy it. we later went tm n i got tis brown pants frm giodano. n levis jeans r much cheaper than i expected it to be. mayb its xmas sale ba. going down to mom's office sometime tis wk to drag her pei me buy jeans for poly.

yesterday, i watched 'mr n mrs smith' brad pitt is soo cool. awww.. but ending kinda anti-climax. =( went to ikea n bought lots of xmas deco n storage stuff. trix even got tis princess froggy soft-toy. it was an impulse trip but heck! its the festive season anyway. anyway, yipee!! mommy is sick of us shopping tt we will hv to buy our new yr clothes on our own.. she'll provide the cash of course. $250 for me!! fantastic. we get to keep the change if we buy cheaper stuff. wats even better is the clothes i bought so far doesn't count in tis budget. shld hv bought more.. hehe. oso, i still get an xmas present!! [my hp is supposed to be my xmas present but dear mommy say its alright if i wan something else to open on xmas morning] i love the world!!

oso i need to lose weight. totally. i've been snacking so much since mommy said potato chips n onion rings r not forbidden.. god, i've sinned! haha.
