deprived: facing shortage of ppl of the opp sex. somewhat like cold-turkey treatment. u hunger for but cannot hv. u still practise a certain degree of judgement n medical n psycological help could still wrk.

desperate: a consequence of severe deprivation. whereby, u'll grab any tom, dick or harry within a kilometre radius. tall or short, thin or fat, rich or poor. anything or anyone oso can. totally beyond hope.
